presentations. Many office tools are used for commercial purposes.

user can do his/her essential work. Application software is called end-user
software, on which the user can do his required work, such as word processor

both personal and business users. Files created in Google Docs can be exported
to all major file formats .doc, .pdf, .docx, .rar, .txt and .html. The file
created in Google Docs is automatically saved, and we can use Google Docs both
online and offline.

types of software?
Answer:- A series of instructions is called a program and a
series of programs is called software, software is used to perform certain
tasks for the user and to operate the computer. It is through software that all
the devices of the computer system can be instructed, what to do and how to do
a task. Hardware and software work together to complete any task and without
software, no work can be done by the user on the computer.
Software is of two types:- 1. System software 2.
Application software
1. System software is the software that manages and controls
the hardware of the computer and because of this, the application software is
able to work in the computer. System software is directly related to the
hardware and it works by directly communicating with the hardware and
interpreting the user's language and instructions to the computer hardware.
System software is the first layer of software after the computer hardware,
which coordinates between the user and the computer system. Without system software,
a computer is just a piece of hardware, which is difficult to use. System
software is written in low-level computer programming languages such as assembly languages, and
these low-level programming languages have
the ability to communicate with hardware at a basic level. Some examples of
system software are firmware, operating systems, utility software, device
drivers, language translators, etc.
2. Application software is the software that is directly
related to the user and which is made keeping in mind a specific task, on which
the user can do his necessary work. Application software is called end-user
software, on which the user can do his necessary work, such as word processor

types of tags used in HTML?
Answer: HTML is a tag-based language, and they are also
called elements, which are predefined. Tags are a special type of instructions
used to design web pages in HTML documents. Each element in HTML documents
begins with an opening angle bracket (<) and ends with a closing angle
bracket (>). If the text is not defined in a tag, it appears as plain text.
Tags instruct the web page how to format and display the content of the web
page. HTML Syntax: An HTML tag has three parts.
HTML tags are of two types:-
1. Paired tags 2. Unpaired tags
1. Paired tags: Paired tags are also called container
or companion tags, they have three parts: first the opening tag which starts
with the name <tag>, second the content on which the tag is to be applied
and third the closing tag which ends with </tag>. Example:

2. Unpaired tags:- Unpaired tags are also called
singular, empty or blank tags and they have only one opening tag, because they
do not contain any content or text. Empty tags do not have any closing tags.
Example: <hr>, <br> etc.
Question:2 How do you work with fonts in an HTML
document?
Answer: Font refers to the predefined style (texture) and
size of the text, which helps in formatting our data in the web page. The four
main attributes of the font tag are given below:
1. Font style:- Font style can be changed in three
ways, bold, italic, and underline.
2. Font Face:- Through font face we can change the
font of the text. Example: <font face=“Arial”>Computer
Science</font>
3. Font color:- Through font color we can change the
color of the text. Example: <font color=“red”>Computer
Science</font>
4. Font Size:- The font size attribute is used to
increase the size of the text. In this, the size of the text can be increased
from 1 to 7 values. Example: <Font size=“2”>Computer Science</Font>
Question:3 Describe the body part of an HTML document?
How will you format it?
Answer: The attribute of the <body> tag is used to
format the body of an HTML document. Through these attributes we can change
both the color of the text and the background color, we can also set an image
on the background.
Now let us learn about formatting through some of the
main attributes of the body tag:-
1. Background:- Through the background attribute, we
can set an image as the background of our HTML document by writing its full
URL.
2. Bgcolor:- Through the bgcolor attribute, we can
set the background color of our HTML document.
3. Link:- Through the link attribute, we can change
the color of the unvisited link of our HTML document.
4. Text:- Through the text attribute, we can change
the color of the text of the HTML document.
